Masquerading as Me

This is my roleplay blog. I've been gaming since I started University, which was in 1981. Back then there was pretty much nothing else to play but AD&D, so that's what I started with. I'm also a live roleplayer and sometimes I do re-enactment as well.

What I'm up to right now

Okay, my fab bf bought me a Dan Abnett book, 'Eisenhorn', which is set in the Warhammer 40K universe. It took me a while to get into it, but now I'm so into it I'm having to ration my reading, because otherwise the experience will be over all too soon. I have also developed a crush of the lead character, but let's not go there...

I'm still playing Shadows, which is wonderful. My character, Lilithai, has been learning neat new Psionic stuff from an NPC, that might just see her disappear in a puff of... er...nothing... if she f*cks up. Lessons are suspended right now though, as we are on a trip to Ascension Island, where it looks like we're going to to breaking cultural taboos again by talking to NPCs instead of killing them. (We do that a lot). We are planning to stick with the tradition of nicking their stuff though, at least...

I'm still gaming with the Camarilla. We've sacked our Prince (P45 duly delivered) and put Power back into the hands of (some of) The People once more. I'm considering presently whether to play my new character at the next game... I need to sew some fish first though...

Other stuff I'm into at the minute... Trying to find a website to learn Glossia off of (see earlier comment about 40k), embroidering, making Artist Trading Cards, getting rid of the worst bits ofmy depression and job hunting (the last two being not entirely unrelated).

So, there you are, all caught up on what this amazing lifeform called me is doing presently.
